Community Outreach
We hold EasyC programming class during the summer.
Last year we helped a middle school team(team 2626B) to achieve their goals.
Last year we helped a team that meets at the Fox Valley Technical College.
At tournaments we are always open to answer questions about our bots and help other teams with programming.
We have 4 FIRST LEGO League teams that feed into our team. Most of them go to state every year and win awards.
We hold open houses in our robotics building every year to build the awareness and outreach of VEX not only in our school but the community as well.
We got our Amaze Award from Worlds put up in the office of our school.
At the SMC Tournament on 11 February 2012 team 1200 Syntax Error recorded there interview to show new teams how to run their interviews with the judges.
We attended a science fair in Kaukauna, WI to raise awareness of VEX Robotics [shown below]
We attended EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh, WI with Marc Kouture to show VEX robotics in the technology pavilion.
- We helped some kids from Georgia form a team there.
Our robotics building on campus is open to anyone that is interested in robotics while we are working on our robots. (Contact us for more information)
